What is Design to Merch?
It’s a ChatGPT app for making personal gifts. You describe an idea, ChatGPT makes the artwork, and Design to Merch shows it on a real product and gives you a link to buy it from the SelecticDesigns store.
Do I pay anything to design?
Designing and previewing in the app don’t place an order or charge you. You only pay if you check out on the SelecticDesigns store.
Who sells and ships my order?
SelecticDesigns.com (SOLD LLC), a separate company, sells, makes and ships every order through its store. Your purchase is between you and SelecticDesigns. Design to Merch only helps you prepare the design and create the link.
How long does shipping take, and where do you ship?
Delivery estimates, shipping costs and destinations are set by SelecticDesigns and shown at checkout. See the store’s shipping policy.
When should I order for Christmas?
Each product is made to order, so leave time for making and shipping. We’ll post a Christmas order-by date here once SelecticDesigns confirms it. Until then, check the delivery estimate at checkout.
How do I choose a size?
Shirts and other sized products have a size chart on their store product page. The app also tells you which sizes a product comes in. Youth and toddler shirts have their own measurements.
Is my design public?
Your purchase link opens an unlisted product page. It isn’t shown in the store’s search or collections, but anyone who has the link can see it, including your artwork. Only share it with people you’re happy to show. You can ask us to take the page down: email support@designtomerch.com.
Can I use my own photo or text?
Yes, as long as you own it or have permission to use it. Don’t use other people’s logos, characters, artwork or photos without their permission. See our terms for what isn’t allowed.
Who makes the artwork?
ChatGPT makes it from your description. It can make mistakes, especially with small lettering, so check the artwork and product photos carefully before you approve and buy.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
The photos show your approved design on the product, but colors can look a little different on screens, and printing on fabric, ceramic or metal varies slightly. If your item arrives damaged or misprinted, contact SelecticDesigns.
Can I return or exchange a personalized item?
Returns, reprints and refunds follow the SelecticDesigns refund policy. Because each item is made to order, check it before you buy.
What happens to my artwork and data?
Our privacy policy explains what’s kept, why and who receives it. You can ask us to delete your files at any time: support@designtomerch.com.
